Initiative Prioritization

Published date: March 7, 2024, Version: 1.13

Initiative prioritization refers to the process of determining which projects or activities should be given higher importance based on their potential impact, strategic alignment, and available resources. At CTC, multiple parties participate in evaluating the priority of an initiative, including the Business, Business Architecture team, Portfolio Managers, Project Management Office (PMO), and if required, Strategy Mobilization Comittee (SMC). Each team has its own distinct methods for determining which initiatives should be advanced to the Business Architecture Team.

It's an ongoing process that should be regularly reviewed and adjusted to ensure that the organization is focusing its efforts on the most valuable and strategically important initiatives.
