February 2024:

• Migrated four active projects from Jenkins and Bitbucket to Azure DevOps, simplifying the tech stack, reducing tech debt and licensing costs, and enabling faster delivery.
•  Migrated a large Jira project with over 200 users and 200k issues to our Enterprise Jira and Confluence Cloud instance, saving $85k/year on duplicate licenses.

January 2024: 

• Completed a trial of GitHub Advanced Security for Azure DevOps (GHAzDO) and created a decision makers guide for a financially sound and security-focused purchase decision.

2023: 

• onducted a successful GitHub Copilot "Pilot" that received positive feedback, demonstrating the power of Generative AI in improving developer productivity and quality.
•  Held the "Increasing Development Velocity" event in September, showcasing the partnership between Canadian Tire and Microsoft and highlighting accomplishments and future plans.

• The next Developer Velocity event is happening on April 9^th and Registration is now open and it is being delivered from Calgary ,embodying our core values such as Inclusion, stronger together.
  
• The Jenkins and Bitbucket migration started in January, and as of February, 25% of the Active Jenkins Projects have already been migrated to Azure DevOps.
