Metrics - Metrics are agreed-upon measures used to evaluate how well the teams/program is progressing toward the Agile team’s business and technical objectives. When it comes to metrics, the first and most important thing is to understand what to measure. Metrics can provide critical insight for better decision-making and help to identify opportunities for improvement which are important in order to quickly respond to market changes and emerging opportunities with innovative, digitally-enabled business solutions. There are 4 categories of Agile Metrics across the SAFe governance levels (Team, Program, Portfolio) that are needed to drive performance and accountability to deliver to business outcomes.
