Overview:

Agile Squads form the backbone of the SAFe® methodology by enabling organizations to scale Agile practices across multiple teams while maintaining flexibility and responsiveness. By working collaboratively in small cross-functional teams, Agile Squads can effectively deliver value in a fast-paced environment while embracing continuous improvement principles.

Agile Squad Skills

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for developing new solutions or enhance existing solutions.

  • Understand the collection of a series of technologies needed to complete a project/product.

  • Create, test, and implement software programs utilizing programming languages.

  • Improve productivity by designing & developing full-d build systems; implementing tools and scripts that enable efficient, flexible builds (Shell, Perl)

  • Review and reprioritize the backlog as part of the prep work for Iteration Planning, including coordination of dependencies with Product Owners

  • Maintain security, backup, and redundancy strategies

  • Design, develop, and execute functional test cases based on user stories and acceptance criteria.
