Overview:

The role of an Enterprise Architect involves understanding the business goals, processes, and requirements of an organization and aligning them with technology solutions. They work closely with stakeholders, including business leaders, IT teams, and other departments, to create a blueprint for the organization's IT infrastructure.

Enterprise Architect Skills

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Author Target Architectures relevant to their Portfolio/Tower

  • Author Business Capability Roadmaps relevant to their Portfolio/Tower

  • Establish strategic themes that feed into the Portfolio's vision

  • Author Enabler Epics relevant to their Portfolio

  • Author Design Patterns and drive adoption across the Value Streams

  • ART conceptualisation for dev value stream

  • Participating in the strategy for building and maintaining the architectural runway via Enabler Epics

  • Support Solution Architects in High level solutioning for prioritized backlog

  • Collecting, generating, and analyzing innovative ideas and technologies to use across the Portfolio/Tower

Secondary Responsibilities:

  • Collect feedback on current enterprise-wide initiatives

  • Participate in architecture and design CoPs

  • Attend system demos whenever critical redesign or foundation work is in progress

  • Attend PI Planning events to guide the implementation of enabler epics
